The enameled look gives a wood stove a certain character not seen in metal stoves. It hearkens back to a time of wood-burning cook stoves and reliable, solidly-built, cast iron appliances. Well, technology has come a long way since then and although you can still get the look of those "good-'ol-days" you can get a lot more efficiency at the same time. The Spectra has a wide-and-shallow profile that snugs up against a wall without intruding too much into the living space of a room. Yet with a 98,000 BTU maximum burn rate, it will provide plenty of heat. The stove also has a convenient side-loading door and can handle logs up to 21" in length. This is a great stove for a rustic cabin or a country style family room. |
