The Cast face combines the look of cast iron strength with the delicacy of fine lattice work (filigree). When the cast surround is added the effect is one of more massive proportions and weight. There are some gothic tones in this combination of cast facades that would look good in a room with a high cathedral ceiling or open beams. Consider this fireplace face in another color if you dare. This face can be downsided for a less massive look by eliminating the cast surround.
